Rare and Antiquarian Books and Documents

Alexandria Fine Consignmets has handled the sale of thousands of rare and antiquarian books and documents. We are pleased to handle the sale of one book or an entire library, and we will travel throughout the mid-Atlantic region to review collections.

We have partnerships with the premier auction houses and with rare book dealers throughout the world. We know what your books are worth and how to receive the highest possible price for the sale. If we believe we would realize a higher price for your books by sending them to an auction house rather than selling them directly, we will do that. In that event we would charge a much smaller commission to you, but that simply is how we operate. 

Perhaps what is most important is that we understand what your books mean to you and we would be honored to help you with your printed treasures.  On that note, forgive us if we get lost in your collection when we come to view it...books are what we love most of all.
